ALICIA + CHRIS
Sebago Lake Wedding // From the moment that Alicia first reached out to me, I was excited to photograph their love. She wrote back to me paragraphs of how she and Chris had found one another, and loved one another, and being chosen to be there with them on their day was such an honor. Based in California, I hadn’t gotten a chance to do an engagement session with them, but I actually met up with them the week leading up to their wedding for a walk on the Eastern Promenade with their two sweet dogs, click here to see their photos from that session!
This camp was so important to Alicia, having been passed down through so many generations of her family, but with whispers of selling it starting to come on the horizon, she knew that she had to have her special day here. Friends flew from all over the country, including some from California who had never seen Maine before (and were on the look out for a moose)! After a snafu with Mookie getting into something he shouldn’t have, tensions were a bit high as he was rushed to the vet with two close friends, and everyone swallowed their nerves to keep Alicia from worrying. But directly post ceremony the news came that he was okay, and by the time we had finished their portraits, Mookie was running back to see his newly married mom & dad!
This was a day filled with so much love, and so many people just so happy to see Alicia + Chris finally tie the knot, and I was so happy I could be there to document it!
