2016 Favorites: Maine Wedding Photographer

January 1, 2017

2016 was easily my best year yet, in terms of my business, my personal growth, and the direction I’ve taken with photography. It was a rough year for a myriad of reasons (RIP Carrie Fisher, you will always be my Princess), but it’s the hardest things that define who we are and make us ready for the road ahead. Above all, through all the pain, aches, and terror in the world, love is what makes us strongest, and what will empower us to be our best selves and to help the world that we call home.

In 2016 I got to photograph in so many places in Maine, I travelled to Vermont, to New Hampshire, North Carolina and all the way to Atlanta, Georgia! I photographed dozens of sunsets, 1 absolutely incredible sunrise (let’s do that some more, please), in 1 downpour and some stunning locations. I captured memories that make my heart sing, and told the stories of all of my amazing couples. I took portraits that I’m so proud of, and tried new things. In the new year, continuing to develop my personal style is my biggest goal, to continue to be fearless, and to keep trying new things. Being weird is the best, and I’m fully embracing it.

I can’t wait to see what 2017 is going to bring, I am so ready for this ride, and thank you for following along with me!
